If we take a number obtained by multiplying another number by itself,
These numbers are called square numbers.
Square numbers from the list are,
9, as it can be gained by multiplying 3 with another 3,(3 × 3) = 9
16 (4 × 4)
64 (8 × 8)
81 ( 9 × 9)
2.) Which are the triangular numbers in the given list?
Triangular numbers are the numbers with whom we can arrange a triangle, equal from each side.
Triangular numbers from the list are,
3, it is triangular number because it can be arranged as 1+2, and in dot formation it makes a triangle
6, it is also a triangular number cause it can also arranged as 1+2+3 and in dot formation creates a triangle.
15, arranged as 1+2+3+4+5
21, arranged as 1+2+3+4+5+6
3.) Name a number which is square as well as triangular.
36 is a number that is square number and also a triangular number.
It is a square number because it can be gained by multiplying 6 with another 6, (6 × 6) = 36
It is a triangular number because it can be arranged as (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8) = 36, and in dot formation it makes a triangle.
