State chief ministers list in a tabular form
In every state of India, there is a chief minister and state governor for all administrative, judicial, and social and development works. Chief Minister is appointed in each state by the state governor according to article 167 of constitution to serve with the governor and state council of ministers. Chief Minister is selected from the candidates after winning a political party in general election. There is no specific mention about chief minister’s eligibility criteria and qualifications in constitution. But the governor too cannot appoint anyone of his/her choice as chief minister of any state or union territory. The governor has to follow certain rules and regulations of election after which only he can appoint chief ministers.
