Answer: Bembem’s father, Thoiba, is an officer who works for the promotion of handloom and handicrafts in Manipur. This is a culturally significant role, as it involves supporting local craftsmanship and preserving traditional arts. And Bembem’s mother, Mani, is a teacher who works in a high school.
2.) What is a home?
Answer: a home is where our family is, and it’s the house we live in. It’s a place where we feel happy, comfortable, and loved. It’s not just a building; it’s the warmth and care we share with our family. As my mother says, a house is made with hands, but a home is made with hearts. It’s where we feel secure and deeply connected.

1.) Describe Bembem’s family.
Answer: Bembem’s family is a loving and close-knit unit residing in Imphal. Bembem, 11, has a younger sister named Naobi is 9 and a brother named Naoba is 6. Their parents, Thoiba and Mani, work as an officer and teacher, respectively. Grandparents Tomba and Sana share stories, and the family cherishes their simple, cozy home in Uripok.
2.) Poverty is responsible for many people being left homeless.
Write on poverty and homelessness.
Answer: Poverty is a big problem. Many people don’t have homes because they are poor. In India, lots of people suffer because of poverty. It’s our responsibility to make the world better. Poor people need help to have a house. Everyone should work together to end poverty and give homes to those who don’t have them. We can make a difference in the world.
