1.) If 1 kg. grapes are available for Rs. 35, how much would 7 kg grapes cost.
Ans: 1 kg grapes cost Rs 35
Therefore 7 kg cost (35*7) = Rs245.
Ans: The cost of 7 kg grapes cost Rs 245.
2.) Find the cost of 1 cycle when 3 cycles cost Rs. 6360.
Ans: The cost of 3 cycles is 6360
1 cycle cost will be ( 6360÷3)
= 2,120
Ans: one cycle cost Rs 2,120.
3.)If a labour charges Rs. 385 for 7 days work, then what amount would he take for 12 days?
Ans: labour charges for Rs 385 for 7 days
So, the amount worker will take (385*12)
4,620
Ans: In 12 days worker will take 4,620.
4.) If 3 litre of petrol costs Rs. 156, what is the cost of 8 litre of petrol?
Ans: litres petrol cost Rs 156
8 litre petrol cost ( 156*8)

Ans: 8 litre petrol cost Rs 1248.
5.) If the cost of 5 kg sugar is Rs. 60, how much sugar would you get for Rs.120?
Ans: cost of 5kg sugar is Rs 60
For Rs 120 we will get 60÷ 5
=12kg
6.)How many cups of capacity 200 ml. would be needed to fill 1600 ml. of milk?
Ans: in order to fill 16000 ml milk,
It requires 8 cups of 200 ml to fill 1600 ml of milk.

7.)3 pens can be bought for Rs. 15; How much would you have to pay to buy 15 pens?
Ans: For Rs 15 three pens can be brought
In oder to buy 15 pens we will pay (15*3)

Ans: To buy 15 pens we will pay Rs 75
8.)One packet containing 5 pencils is available for Rs. 13. Another packet containing 10 pencils is available for Rs. 25. Which packet has a lesser rate per pencil?
Ans: packet containing 5 pencils for Rs 13= (13÷5) = 2.6
Another packet Rs25 pencils for 10 pencils=(25÷10) = 2.5
Therefore, second packet cost less price.
