Statement Sums
1.)A trader bought 100 kg. of wheat for Rs. 850 and sold it at the rate of Rs. 95for 10 kg. so how much profit or loss did he make?
Ans -Trader brought 100 kg of wheat for Rs. 850
Trader sold it for 95 for 10kg
So, he made profit.
Profit = 950-850=Rs.100
Ans Trader made Rs.100 profit.
2.)Raju bought 20 Litre milk for Rs. 200 and sold it for Rs. 12 per Litre. What was his profit or loss?
Ans: Raju bought 20 litre milk for Rs. 200
Raju sold it for Rs 12 per litre
So, he made profit = 12
= 12* 20
= 240- 200
= Rs 40
Ans: Raju made Rs 40.
3.)Jamuna bought a fan and sold it for Rs. 690 at a loss of Rs. 180. Find the cost price of the fan.

He made a loss of Rs 180
The cost price of the fan is = SP + LOSS
= 690 + 180
= 870
Ans: So, the cost price of the fan is Rs 870.

Cost price will be = sp – profit
= 850 – 100
= Rs750

Selling price = cp + profit
= 3750 + 150
