Health awareness camp organised in our school:
A health awareness camp was organised in our school recently on the last week. It was a great initiative from our school authority to spread awareness and seriousness about taking care of health among children. If students start taking care of their health and understand its effectiveness then it will be beneficial for them. Doctors visited the camp to check health condition of students of all classes one by one. There were specialised doctors like paediatrician, dermatologist, cardiologist and general physicians to look over students’ several problems regarding health. There was also psychologist to check students’ mental health and personality development with time. Students were asked to consult with psychologist if they had any genuine concern regarding their mental health. Medicines have been distributed to sick and weak students who require vitamins and minerals supplements. It has been found that some students are facing malnutrition and in underweight. Their height, weight, heartrate, pulse rate, signs of other organs have been checked properly. Special treatment has been prescribed for those students who needed it. Doctors have advised to take basic health care by following some tips like drinking water, eating green vegetables, basic hygiene etc. to protect their health. Besides that doctors encourage students to take part in sports and any form of physical activities as per their interest. So overall, all students have been benefitted from this health camp. Our head master assured us to organise such health camps more in the future. It was indeed a great initiative taken by our school to monitor students’ health and spread awareness among them.
