The speaker, here in the poem expresses his fears and worries in a different way. He is  worried if his hair grow green on his chest. He is nervous that no one would like him. If someday a bolt of lightning strikes him or if he don’t grow taller anymore, all this scared him a lot.

Here, the speaker in this poem represents himself as a worried person. He thinks that if his teeth won’t grow in straight and have a nice shape, he is scared.
