WBCHSE is the independent education board of west Bengal which mainly focus on forming the complete higher secondary education system. The board conduct class 11 final exam and higher secondary examination every year. Higher secondary is also a public examination in which lakhs of students appear every year. For that, high level of competition is also present in the examination. The state board has a specific subject expert panel who are responsible to prepare the textbooks according to the exam pattern and syllabus. There are two common textbooks for compulsory subjects of languages and other textbooks are selected by different subject experts of respective streams. The common thing on which the main focus has been given is including pictures, diagrams, examples and extra information to make textbooks more interesting and presentable.
