Kanchenjunga is the highest mountain peak in India and third highest in the entire world. It is part of Himalayan ranges, situated in the border of India and Nepal in state Sikkim. Its height is 28,169 ft. with an elevation point of 8586 meters. The meaning of Kanchenjunga is ‘the five treasures of snows’. Anaimudi is the highest mountain peak of western Ghats which is also highest point of south India. Nanda Devi is the second highest mountain peak situated in the Garhwal Himalayan ranges of Uttarakhand. Kamet peak is the third highest mountain peak in Zaskar Himalayan range within the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. SaltoroKangri peak is the fourth highest peak, also sub-range of Karakoram. It is the source of many longest mountain glaciers like Siachen glacier located in Jammu and Kashmir. Saserkangri is the fifth highest mountain peak of India and 35th highest of the world. The Saserkangri is the comprising group of five magnificent summits located in Jammu and Kashmir. Mamostongkangri is sixth highest peak of India and 48th highest in the world. It is the summit point of Rimomustagh range in great Karakoram Range.
