(i) What is cold?
Ans cold is not as serious as Flu .Common cold usually starts with a sore throat, sneezing and runny nose. The sickperson feels tired, his body aches, and sometimes there is a slight fever.
(ii) What is flu?
Ans Flu is the short form of influenza. And it is serious than common cold.
(iii) What are the symptoms of cold?
Ans The sickperson feels tired, his body aches, and sometimes there is a slight fever.
(iv) What are the symptoms of flu?
Ans Flu always makes the sick feel more tired and have more fever. The sick person may have stomach as well as breathing problems
(v) What is the complete form for flu?
Ans Influenza
(vi) Are cold and flu easily curable?
Ans Yes, it is curable by giving proper treatment.
(vii) Describe the process of preparing a medicated steam.
Ans Take a kettle with a spout. Fill half of it with water. Add a little oil of eucalyptus or similarmedicine. Heat itover a stove. Make a tube of paper or cardboard. The steam coming out of the spout should be let to passthrough thetube to the patient. He can breathe it in for about 10-20minutes from a safe distance.
(viii) Describe the process of heating fomentation.
Ans Heating fomentation can also help. Here is theprocess. Dip a towel in hot water. Wring out the hot wateras dry as possible from the towel. Wrap it in another cloththick enough to protect the skin. Then apply the pack on the throat, on the chest or on the back until it gets cold. Thepack can be changed several times
(ix) How and why is fluid important for a person suffering from cold?
And Fluid is highly needed for the sick person who has a high fever. Lemon juice is a kind of fluid. During fever, the body loses fluid trying to cool itself. Then the person gets dizzy and has a tired feeling. Fluids make the nose and lungs free from mucus. This makes the mucus soft and it comes out while coughing.
