Subject: Pollution and traffic jams and odd/even scheme
Sir
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw attention of the concerned authority regarding the issues of traffic jams, pollutions. Due to the growing population the number of vehicles on the road is also increasing. We can see that traffic jams are everywhere and these cause the waste of time, fuel and delay.
Every day we are facing many problems for these traffic jams. We cannot go to our work or school on time, cars get scratches while passing another car and people and sometimes several accidents also happen. Even for heavy traffic jams, ambulance also cannot reach to the hospital on time and patient die. It irritates us and it also causes air and noise pollution which are bad for our health, other animals, plants and weather.
So, I would like to suggest that government should take some actions to control this problem. Concerned authority can implement the odd/even scheme to control on the number of vehicles on a single line.
Yours sincerely
Aditya Sharma
