Ans :- It is an important part in making of an animation film. It means pouring life into the characters with humanity and personality. This plays an important role in giving life to the story. Characters have to be designed very carefully. We must take care before designing characters :

2) What is Animation
Ans :- Animation is a method, which is created for displaying still images at a fast speed in continuous manner. This technology depends on the persistence of vision. Anything that we see persists in our vision for a short time (1/16 of a second) even after it is removed. Images appear to move when the images appears continuously one after the other. In the olden days, Plastic films were used in making animation films on which the images were painted. Later as there were invention of computers, softwares were used for animation process. Some of the animation applications are Synfig Studio, Tupi : Open 2D Magic, Pencil (Free Software) Adobe flash, Toon Boom, Anime Studio (Proprietory software) etc. Large Animation files/projects can be exported in flv, mpeg, mp4 etc. file formats, whereas small animation projects can also be exported in gif format. In animation movie, the background sounds or music can be added with the help of Audacity and Open Shot Video Editor is used to combine video and audio (gives title and make it into a movie)
