Answer. Leacock feels nervous before going to the bank.

Answer. Yes, my mother faint or shiver when sees any insect like caterpillar. She also shivers in the sound of thunderstorm and lightning. She is quite brave to deal with any situation. She holds temper and take wise decision in stressful situation. But she cannot control her mind for these two things.

Kitchen sink is used for cleaning vegetables, washing dishes and filling water from tap. Pressure cooker is used for cooking any food faster. Oven is used to cook food with heat.

Answer. The mother was scared of the mouse which entered the kitchen.

Answer. The boy took a broom and shooed the mouse to the hall. It vanished in the hallway into the garden.

Answer. The old man had to put up with the nuisance of having boys playing outside his house at night.

The man did this because it was his trick to keep the boys away from his house. He planned this way to make the boys away peacefully.

Answer. The old man gave better examples of solving an issue in quite manner. He did not argue and scold the boys to play from his house. But he thought about a smart plan and applied the trick of paying the boys for their game. In that way, the boys stopped playing there and the man did not have to put much stress on it. So, he was the ultimate master of the game who thoughtfully removed the boys from there.
