Difference between Mass of substance and Volume of substance

Example of mass of substance :-
The mass of substance can be measured by first weighing container then placing the water inside and weighing it again. The weight of container is subtracted from weight of water inside the container and we get mass of the water. |
Example of volume of substance :-
The volume of substance can be measured by the length , width and depth of container is multiply to get how many cubic feet it hold and the the product is multiply by the cubic feet and we get volume
