Dance Moves for feeding.
Bees feed upon Pollen and nectar from flowers with the help of Proboscis. They have a great strategy for communication about the Food Source.
A Worker Bee Dance, is known as the ‘ Waggle Dance’ which is to navigate the other Bees about the direction of food. They also fly in the form of an ‘8’ number shape.
Their compass consists of Sun, Polarization, Blue sky Pattern, Earth’s magnetic field, etc., which helps them in directing the food source.
Generalist species of Bees depend upon the wide range of Flowering plants as a food source. But Oligoleges are the types of Bees that prefer closely related plant species for food that consists of only one family of plant.
Bees are Eusocial Insects.
This Eusocial Insects consist of our 1 Female that can mate, a ‘Queen Bee’.
