Bear species are found in a variety of Habitats. Tropical Rainforest with coniferous trees, Broadleaf Forests, Prairies, Steppes, Montane Grasslands, Arctic Tundra, Alpine forests, Hillsides, etc.
The appearance of this mighty roar contains agouti fur.
Males are larger than females. They possess strong hands (forelimbs) with sharp nails or claws. These claws are useful in digging nests and tearing up the prey, in making Dens, moving the hard rocks.

They rub themselves against the Trees to mark their Territory through their scents.
This sense of smell helps them notify them whether there is a Female present in the area or there is the presence of any Rival male.
They have a sharp memory of the place where they were able to find food earlier and have 42 sets of Teeth.
Vocalizations include Tongue clicking, Grunting, and Chuffing.
They show their aggressiveness through ‘Growls’ and ‘Roars’ when facing an unwanted encounter.
An opportunistic Feeder.
These are omnivores. They feed on plants, Fruits, Grass, Sedges, Leaves, Acorns, Roots, Berries, etc. They also feed on insulated Animals, Ants, Termites, Bees, Wasps, Rodents, Insects, and Carrions (Dead animals).
They are also seen using ‘kleptoparasitism’ that is they steal food hunted by another individual.
The mating and cub nurturing habits.
Male Bears search the Female Bear in their vicinity. When he approaches the Female, he will visit her area frequently. Male Bear will keep track and avoid rival Males.
The other individuals include wrestling Mock fighting and vocal calls.
Female gives birth to cubs in 6-9 months.
Cubs need nursing and care for 2-3 months. The cubs get their sight a few days later.

Bears are hunted for Sport, Food, and folk medicine. Hunting and Habitat loss are the two threats to Bear’s existence.
