Subject: – About giving views on removal of Trams in Kolkata.
Respected Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my views on tram removal. We all know that our city is being updated over time. A number of techniques have been implemented in the last few years, one of which is trams. Tram is an up to date system for easy travel, but it also has many disadvantages to the city. Tram system occupies urban space and also occupies space of parking cars. It is very expensive to implement in any city. Unnecessary traffic occurs whenever it stops. Tram tracks are a bit dangerous for two-wheelers with narrow tires. It has some advantages like it is a low pollution system but can high chances of causing accident on the road.
Considering the above points, I would like to give my opinion to the Department of Transport regarding the removal of trams from Kolkata Road. I am requesting you please publish this issue in your newspaper for the good of the city.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Manish Bhatt
