Rabindranath Tagore was born in Tagore family on 7th May 1861. He was born in Jorasanko in Calcutta. His father’s name was DevendraNath Tagore and his mother’s name was Sarada Devi. At the age of 17,he started his schooling in England. RabindraNath Tagore Wrote many poems, short stories, novels, play and essays. He got the Nobelprize in Literature in 1913. The great poet RabindraNath Tagore died on 7th August, 1941.
