It is found in earth crust in the firm of scheelite and wolframiteore. It is also form by reduction of tungsten oxide with hydrogen and carbon It is very durable and string metal . It have highest melting point and lowest vapour pressure

Discovery :.  Tungsten is discovered in 1783 by scientist Juan and FaustoElhuyar

Origin of name :.  The name is derived from Swedish word ‘tungsten‘

Meaning of this word is heavy stone
