INTRODUCTION
Respected Principal Sir/Madam, teachers and dear fellow students. Before this cheerful day I have been given a lucky chance to address you all. In my all effort and love I intend to say a few words regarding my topic- “The Culture of India”. “India”
BODY
A nation which is a beautiful mix of everything. Our hearts are made of gold and we are a part of golden land. India boasts a rich culture and history spanning over thousands of years. We have everything from gods to demons and from struggle to victory, Tales of martyrs, and stories of villains. The culture of any country derives its essence from clothing, festivals, languages, religions, music, dance, architecture, food, and artist. India has been a friend to all and foe to none, the land of spirituality and the home of spiritually enlightened. Our culture as I’ve mentioned is a beautiful mixture, India absorbed every culture that came to its land; our country welcomes the world with open hands in the name of universal brotherhood and love. India as a country is complex yet beautiful, and like any other country the strength of this nation comes from its people. India gave the world four important religions which have followings in millions. These four religions are Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. India was never a land for oppression and its people flourished evidently as a result of India’s liberal approach to human and animal life. As a culture we are the land of non-violence. Coming to its people, we have joint family system which is so beautiful and loving to see. The marriage system in India most of the time supported arrange marriage terminology but things changed overtime and people are more open to finding their true love and life partner. India celebrates a multitude of festivals owing to her varied religious population and above everything everyone irrespective of their religion joins everybody in a festival for celebration, the true essence of India lies in its people and their brotherhood. For different geographical locations and climate, cultural mix change and takes on many forms and languages. Indian culture has many times inspired numerous writers and people around the world. India is a symbol of unity and passion. Indian culture derives its roots from its people and environment of their upbringing. The upbringing of a child in India is somewhat ideally strict, because Indian parents believe disciple is the only maker of one’s destiny. Necessary values of thinking and responsibility are instilled in the raw minds of children by the elders in the family. These important values and the burden of responsibility define the child into a responsible citizen of our country. Unity in diversity is the correct phrase to describe India. Its culture is a beautiful panorama of religions and languages. Its story is magnificent and woven by the threads of heroism and sacrifice.

India is a world in itself; a person will find a different picture each time he or she chooses to change the location. Every mountain, lake, land, tree and stone has its own story to tell, what one needs is a keen and attending mind and you are in for a grand revelation.
