Speech on Organ Donation
INTRODUCTION
Respected Principal Sir/Madam, teachers and dear fellow students. Before this beautiful day I have been given a lucky chance to address you all. In my full effort and power I intend to say a few words regarding my topic- “Organ Donation”.
BODY
The population of earth is 7 billion and it is rising, and so is rising the death rate. People die from various causes; the grief their deaths cause is immeasurable to their loved ones. Although medical technology has progressed way ahead of our times but still there remains some things not under our control. Today we are going to talk about the saving of lives through organ donation and why organ donation has saved many lives over the years. Some people face chronic organ failure and for them getting a new organ are a matter of life and death, and in those times if they get the organs, it will save their lives. Although organs are priced but the price of someone’s generosity can never be paid through any money.
The donation of an organ and saving a life through it not only helps the recipient but also betters the life of their loved ones. It is ultimately the love and generosity that is prevailing in the world that has kept us from falling in dark times, the sheer importance of love and affection is unprecedented. Organ donation provides a life giving, life enhancing chance to those who are at the end of hope. The process of organ transplant is not that simple, when we are transplanting organs from one body to another, special care must be taken, and the health organizations are also of big role to play here. Some organs require limited time for their transport and transplant like heart. It is a very difficult process to transplant the heart and save a life. But like with any other thing, there are some problems faced, like the illegal industry of organ trade. In illegal organ trade, the organs of smuggled children and wrongfully lured people are sold to the highest bidder.
The lives of millions of people are at stake all over the world because of some scammer looking to lure people into giving their vital organs away. The government is already working on this issue and had some progress but these problems take time to solve. Some poor countries and places are largely susceptible for this kind of wrong doing. Sometimes some hideous and greedy hospital carries this illegal operation and fills their pockets. Sometimes this scam is so hard to find that by the time police and authorities find the culprit, the damage had been done already. I urge everybody present over here to report any such thing if it comes to your notice anywhere. The lies and deceits have claimed more lives than all of the wars combined. Sometimes people forget their moral duty and responsibility and resort to illegal activity, all of this for some money. I wonder when everyone will realize the values of love and support. There is nothing more valuable than a human being’s life, and no matter what price we estimate it at, there is no price after all. The human body and life Is priceless.
CONCLUSION
Concluding this talk with my regards for better future, let’s make this world great again. Thank you all for being such an understanding listeners.
