Today we have gathered in school to celebrate Indian Tourism Day. I want to thank respected teachers, principal and other students for attending the event. I am going to deliver a short speech on the significance of celebrating Indian Tourism Day.
The Ministry of Indian Tourism has marked 25th January as National Tourism Day. The celebration of the day is done to spread awareness about diversified natural beauty of India that attracts many tourists. India has wide range of attractive places that draws attention of foreign tourists. Inclusion of diversified portfolio of tourism such as eco-tourism, rural, sports or educational travel has influenced economic growth of the nation.
The Indian Government established tourist committee to secure national heritages in 1948.Later, a different unit was developed to maintain the functioning of tourism department. The Deputy General used to lead the department that came under the Ministry of Tourism and Communication. The Ministry of Tourism has developed national policies to develop tourism of our nation. Collaboration with local and international organisations helps in promoting attractive locations. Popular tourist sports have been highlighted to increase involvement of more international tourists.
Cultural programs are done to promote the necessity of tourism in state as well as national level. High level authorities prefer to arrange seminar to raise awareness about the influence of tourism business on economic growth of India. The speeches of government officials helps to find out the attractive initiatives that must be taken to improve tourism business of the nation.
The National Tourism Day is celebrated with the aim of promoting multiculturalism and diversification of India as a prominent tourist destination. The reach heritage, ancient buildings and attractive locations help to grow tourism sector of India. Cultural events are organised to make people aware of the booming tourism sector and its impact on the financial development of the country.
