Sit in groups. Discuss the following with your group members and share your ideas with the whole class.
a.) Find out how the pictures are different from one another and discuss those differences with your friends.
Ans. The pictures are about the dream worlds of three different children. Their dream worlds are all set in the year 2050. However, their dream worlds are different from each other. In Sonam’s dream world, houses have huge slides which are used by the children as transportation. In Sonam’s dream world, there is also a river where people are using small boats as vehicle. There are colorful trees all around too.
Beena’s deeam world in 2050 is made up of candy houses and trees, where roads are fillled with lrge sweets like cupcakes and chocolates. The children in Beena’s world enjoy these sweet treats daily.
On the other hand, Hemant’s dream world in 2050 has fairies, aliens, dragons amd witches living together in what looks like an enchanted forest. In this world, frogs can sing and talk.
Thus, we can see that the dream worlds of the three children are different from each other, based on what each of them likes the most.
b.) Out of the three worlds given in the pictures, which world do you dream about most of the time? Tell your friends about your dream world.Think about your dream world and share what it looks like.
Ans. Out of the three worlds given in the pictures, I dream about Sonam’s world most of the time. I like how in Sonam’s world, people use slides and boats to travel and move.
In my dream world, just like Sonam’s, people enjoy even the most ordinary activities like travelling. In my dream world, people can also fly using special gadgets. There are big and tall houses having the latest technology. There are also a lot of trees and open grounds where children can play. Thus, in my world, everyomne is happy and contented.
c.) Draw your own dream world in the box below.

2.) Read the dreams of Dorjee and Thinley. Think about their dreams and tell your friends what you think about their dreams.
Two brothers named Dorjee and Thinley lived in a place called Penlong. They had a land on which nothing grew. It
did not give them any fruits or crops. They could not sell anything to get money. So, both of them dreamt of using
the land in their own ways.
Dorjee’s dream was to cut down all the trees on their land to build a factory and earn money.
Thinley’s dream was to plant more trees so that they could become home for many animals and birds.
a.) Whose dream do you like? Why?
Ans. I like Thinley’s dream more because in his dream he is providing home to animals and birds. Trees have a huge impact on our environment also. By planting more trees, Thinley will help in controlling pollution and rise in temperature. The trees will also be home to different animals and birds, which is necessary since many animals and birds lose lose their habitat due to deforestation.
b.) Think of a way to make the dreams of both Dorjee and Thinley come true.
Ans. The dreams of both Dorjee and Thinley are both very different from each other. However, there can be a way to make both the dreams come true. The way in which both Dorjee and Thinley’s dreams can come true is to use some of the land for building a factory and using the remaining land to plant trees around the factory. This will enable Dorjee to earn money while allowing Thinley to still provide a home to animals and birds. The trees around the factory will also help in controlling the pollution that will be caused by the factory.

Ans. 10 years later I will be an adult. I will have completed my school education. I will be in college studying my favourite subject. I will also have many friends with whom I will go to different places for trips. I will learn to drive a car. I will also have a part-time job that will help me start earning money.
