Subject is the noun or pronoun of a sentence which conducts the action in a sentence. In some sentences subject can be implied. In case of imperative sentence subjects remain implied so we have to take you as subject.
In a sentence what a subject does or the action done by a subject is predicate. So, we can say the other part of a sentence except subject is predicate.
