(1) Economy begins at home.
Ans) Economics is the word derives from the Greek Word Oikonomia , means ‘family management’.There is a lot of similarity between family management and economics. To manage the finances of villages/cities, states, countries and world also need to have economic management. But at first we start this financial management system from our family as it is a part of the society.
(2) India’s economy is of mixed type.
Ans) India’s economy is of mixed type as we find both Public and Private sector here. Here we also find a balance between profit and social welfare.
(3) On the basis of economies, we can divide countries into three groups.
Ans) On the basis of economies, we can divide countries into three groups-
- Developed Countries have a developed Economy and advanced technological structure. These countries have minimum wage of Rs 2000 or more/day.
- Developing Countries are countries with less developed industrial base and low Human Development Index.
- Under Developed Countries are countries with mass poverty, obsolete methods of production and social organisation.
