Respected Sir / Madam
I am Mr. SumanDasgupta, account holder of CBIXXXX4567 of your XYZ Bank, Rajiv Nagar Branch. Yesterday I was making a payment of Rs1800 to one of friend Mr. Prasad jogh having Bank account in the same bank, his account number is CBIXXXX789 but by mistakenly I put the wrong account number and transfer the amount to the wrong account which is CBIXXXX879. Two digits got interchange by mistake from my side and transaction ID is T8963689901000017. Payment was done on 6th January 2023 by UPI payment. Now I request you please reverse the amount back. Kindly give the solution to get back my money in the bank account. I tired calling customer care support but my call isn’t connecting. I am writing this letter to you with the hope of getting my money back. If it not possible to reverse my money from the bank side then please send me the contact number of the account holder CBIXXXX879 so that I can contact the person, tell him about the wrong transaction and request to send money back to my account. Incase if there is need of me to visit Bank or filling any kind of form for the same then please let me know. For me Rs 1800/- is a big amount so need it back in any case.
I know it was my mistake but I am expecting that Bank authority to understand me and help me in this situation. I am attaching the xerox copy of transaction details, which was wrongly transferred from my side for your reference. Eagerly waiting for the response from the bank side
