What is the normal height of a coconut tree?
Answer: The normal height of coconut tree is 25 meters.
What is kernel?
Answer: Kernel is the inner soft part of coconut.
How many seeds does a coconut have in it?
Answer: Coconut have only one seed in it.
I.) Comprehension:
A.) Sit in pairs and do the following exercises. First discuss and later on write the answers in your notebook.
1.) Draw a picture of half a coconut shell. Name the parts.
2.) Coconut oil is used for many purposes. List at least five of them.
Answer: The coconut oil can use in cooking, hair, also used to prepare soap, candles, cosmetics, detergents and other products.
3.) How is the fiber of the coconut tree used?
Answer:Coconut fibers used to make mats, brushes, ropes and broom.
4.) ‘The coconut tree is an example to us.’ Explain this sentence in your own words.
Answer:Like the coconut tree useful for human being in many ways, human being also try to help the environment in every possible way.
B.) Write a short paragraph on the uses of the coconut tree in five to six sentences.
Answer: There are many usages of the coconut tree. In coconut fruit there is a sweet and nutritious water to drink, when we break the coconut, we find Copra to eat. Coconut oil is used in cooking, for hair and to make soap, detergent and to make cosmetics. Coconut fibers also used to make roof of the house and weaving baskets.
