Karnataka extend from 11 -31 North to 18-45 North latitude and 74-12 East to 78-40 East longitude. 750km stretching from Aurad taluk in Bidar district which is located in the northern most tip of the state Chamarajnagar district in the south and its width is 400km from west to east. Western end consist of Karwar in Uttar Kannada district, whereas Mulbagal taluk in kolar district in eastern end. Karnataka also have water and land frontiers too. The Arabian Sea in the west, states of Maharashtra in the North, Andhra Pradesh in the East, Tamil Nadu in the south as well as south East, Kerala in the Southwest and lastly Goa in the North West.
