What is PSLV :
It is a rocket launch vehicle developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for launching satellites into orbit. It is designed to carry satellites up to 1,750 kg in weight into various orbits ranging from low Earth orbits to geostationary orbits.
Function:
PSLV works by using two solid fuel boosters and four liquid-fueled engines in the first stage to lift off from the launchpad.
