Application writing is a type of formal letter. This type of letter is used for only official purposes. This letter can be written to company manager regarding salary hike, regarding promotion, to the school principal, to the bank manager etc.
If you are writing application letter to company regarding jobyou will need to include a heading with your name ,address, email ,phone number and date. You can also mention the name of the recruiter or hiring manager of the same of the company. However, if you want to have that information you can include it below your signature.
