Visit to a museum Paragraph: Last Sunday, I went to Indian museum in Kolkata with my parents which is the oldest museum of India. Indian museum was built in 1814 at the cradle of the Asiatic society of Bengal. I had the wish for long to visit this huge museum one day. I got the chance to experience the rich history, culture and tradition of India that lie within each corner of this museum. I was glad since my father informed us about the visit to Indian museum. I saw archaeological section, anthropological section and presenting department with great enthusiasm. I roamed through all corners of the museum and filled my heart with the great knowledge from it. There were scriptures of various languages of India, charts, murals and manuscripts covering the walls of museum. I saw ancient weapons, robes and dresses that warriors used for different wars. I saw the section of mommy and Egyptian history. I saw broken pots, stones, toys, pitchers, skulls, beads that reflect history of ancient civilisations. We saw various kinds of swords, sheaths, shields and helmets that generals of army used to fight in battlefield. In overall, the museum is a treasure trove of India to carry the remarkable signs of history and culture for ages. I felt immensely satisfied and grateful after visiting this museum.
