The Black Aeroplane Summary Class 10 Chapter Three by Fredrick Forsyth
THE BLACK AEROPLANE
SUMMARY:
“The Black Aeroplane” is a mysterious story written by Fredrick Forsyth. The pilot in the story desires to be with his family in London for a long vacation and has hope in mind that he would have the next morning’s breakfast with his family. As soon as he crosses Paris, he witnesses a group of black clouds, which were possibly a sign of a storm as well as danger. He decides to risk his life, as he is blinded by his dreams and desires for his family, and heads forward instead of going back to Paris. As soon as he enters the clouds, he loses the radio signal, and his compass is also destroyed, and he is in the middle of danger, without anyone who can help or guide him. But suddenly, he gets a look at another airplane, and the pilot in the airplane signals him to follow him. The other pilot guides him out of the storm and helps him get access to the runaway when his fuel tank was about to run out. The pilot reaches the control tower to know about the pilot who helped him, and she shockingly replies that there was no other pilot other than him. This is one of the most mysterious and shocking endings to the story, as he did not know who the pilot was in the black airplane without lights who helped him survive.
