Thank You Speech For Award
Thank You Speech For Award: Good morning/ afternoon/ evening to everyone present here. This is a very humbling as well as precious moment for me so I would like to take some time of you all to express my gratitude for this award.
This award has made me a bit overwhelmed as I didn’t expect it in the first place. Being from a very humble background I always thought of doing something different and amazing to my parents proud of me and I guess winning this award made them in a way. Although, they still love me the same, as they did before winning this beautiful award. A lot of people here know what it takes to make upto this stage and win an award. I would like to congratulate each one of you who has or hasn’t won any award, because you know in your heart that you’ve won your respective lives. Sitting here in the middle of all the great people and competitors at the same time, I feel I’m very lucky and therefore, I extend this award to all of you, you all have won in my eyes. The very important person in my life deserves every bit of this award as I do, my mother, my creator, who never gave up on my ideas and stupid things I ever did. Mom, I love you as much as you would want me to. I’m here because of you and you truly are the creator of winner. Every mother is a winner and they deserve every bit of the prize we as children get. I assume I have taken a great time of yours and would complete this in a moment.
Be it winning an award or winning a school race, the enthusiasm and the excitement remains same. I still feel that there’s another milestone to achieve after this award. I still want to start another task with the same spirit and more of hardwork than I did for this moment. Let’s celebrate ourselves when we win or lose, because to even lose something, we tried, and that’s what matters the most. If you don’t try your best at things you feel you’re good at, you will be stuck doing what you don’t want to even though you’re not happy. I believe we all should chase happiness and our work, and then no matter how much efforts or time it takes, trust me, it’ll be worth it.
At last, ending this speech with an affirmation “I believe in myself, and you all should too”
