These lines are taken from the poem “Daffodils” written by William Wordsworth. He was nature lover so all his writing related to the nature.
Here the speaker, compared himself as a cloud, floating on high hills, then in a crowd he saw the main attraction the golden daffodils which blooms beside the lake and nodding his head for the wind. They continuous sparkling as the star do and stretched like a line which never ended anywhere.

The mood of the poet change in the poem in a happy mood. He was so much attracted by the beauty of daffodils that whenever he felt empty or depressed he remembers the memory of the nature and it bring his life in a new way.

The poet was nature addicted so his writings also related to nature. The view of daffodils and the beauty returned poet’s in another world where he can stay without any thinking. So when he thought about the sad moments, he blinked his eyes, he felt the view of nature that makes her heart happy.

Yes, I agree that nature soothes people. When we feel lonely, the nature has only that potential to make anyone from boredness. Nature is our true friend, who accompanies us anytime. The beauty of the nature attracts anyone and can overcome all the sorrowful days of life. Now a days, depression is a common matter and as a medicine nature is cure process. So, nature is soothes for all people.
