We are the most advanced species on earth, and the most powerful one. Ages came and went, after all the evolution and struggle we made ours ascend possible with the will of our mind and valor of our work. Humans have made their lives so much better, all of this because they used their minds and brains. These people cared for no money and fame, they kept doing what they wanted most and the world recognizes them as geniuses.
Speech Writing on Nobel Prize for Students | Long Speech on Nobel Prize
Well we’ve had many such geniuses from time to time spanning hundreds and thousands of years, but after 1901 they were highlighted in a big way through a very prestigious award called the Nobel Prize. First awarded in year 1901, Nobel prizes are awarded in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or medicine, literature and peace. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank (Sweden’s central bank) established the prize in Economic sciences in memory of Sir Alfred Nobel, founder of the Noble Prize. Nobel Prizes are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards available in their respective fields. Alfred Nobel was a Swedish chemist, engineer and industrialist most famously known for the invention of dynamite. He died in 1896. In his will, he bequeathed all of his remaining realizable assets to be used to establish five prizes which became known as Nobel Prizes. The Prize ceremony takes place annually. Each recipient known as laureate receives a gold medal, a diploma certificate and a monetary award. The Nobel prizes beginning in 1901 and the Nobel memorial prize in economic sciences beginning in 1969 have been awarded 603 times to 962 people and 25 organizations. Except for the peace prize, the Nobel prizes are presented in Stockholm, Sweden, at the annual prize award ceremony on 10th December, the anniversary of Nobel’s death. The peace prize and its recipients’ lectures are presented at the annual prize award ceremony is Oslo Norway usually on December 10. These prizes are very important if we look at them through the eyes of achievement. These people who are winning Nobel prizes are nothing less than geniuses. These men and women are paving way for the technological advancement and also the advancement of human mind and soul. Every child must learn from their example and try to do something like that. India had its Nobel laureates but we ought to increase the number of them in the coming years. And for that to take place we need to focus on innovative education system and not the traditional cramming education system. Producing geniuses is a difficult task but it is worth the effort. The amount which the world gains and benefits from the minds and work of these people is immeasurable.
