Speech on Importance of Trees
INTRODUCTION
Respected Principal Sir/Madam, teachers and dear fellow students. Before this beautiful day I have been given a lucky chance to address the future of our world. In my full effort and power I intend to say a few words regarding my topic- “Importance of Trees”.
BODY
Ever wonder why earth is blue and green. It is because we have a massive ocean and million sq. miles of natural vegetation. This Benign duo is really beautiful and what’s most fascinating is their interdependence. It is really hard for one to exist without the other. In the beginning we had a powerful and huge ocean, and then came the vegetation, tall green trees covering massive areas, forests with millions of species of animals and microorganisms. You might have heard this important process of water cycle and it is of utmost importance to notice that areas which are deficit in green and natural vegetation are also scarce of water sources. So it is very important for us to conserve those green friends of ours. Also, plants and trees need water to survive and flourish, and so water and green vegetation go hand in hand. We have had big talks and little ones about how the natural vegetation is decreasing and what should be done to save it from vanishing. But the real question is does anyone really care, in my honest opinion a very small portion of population is aware of the imminent threat we are facing because the natural vegetation and trees are decreasing. The more modern we become we are forgetting our moral responsibility; we are becoming more senseless and more careless. To the point that we are under immediate catastrophe, greenhouse gas emissions and the yearly rise of earth’s temperature are but a few very important threats we are facing in present. Very humongous amounts of capital are invested by many nations in the hope of curbing the vanishing trees but on the ground level, reality is different. The more we try the more we realize there appears to be something wrong in the very approach we are taking up as a solution to this problem. We are planting trees, making water available for them to grow but as we know it, growing trees and taking care of them is a no joke. It needs to be done constantly and under regular supervision; we need to supervise the details and data, like the type of plant sapling, the amount of water needed, sunlight exposure, quality of the soil and its compatibility with the plant sapling taken. Moreover we are aware that trees are not only beneficial from a weather point of view but also trees give us fruits and vegetables. The very vegetarian foods we eat are the product and offspring of some plant or tree somewhere. It is the miracle of a farmer’s hard work and the effective supply chain that enables us to enjoy our delicious food from the comfort of our home.
CONCLUSION
The medicines we use are in some quantity the derived essence of some tree or plant. Trees and plants provide for people the source of daily earning by selling the fruits and vegetables in the market for us to purchase. There are many advantages and benefits if we conserve the trees or else face the consequences. Thank you all for
