Speech on Importance of Time
INTRODUCTION
Respected Principal Sir/Madam, teachers and dear fellow students. Before this beautiful day I have been given a chance to address the future of our world. In my full effort and power I intend to say a few words regarding my topic- “Importance of Time”.
BODY
We are the product of our habits and what we do every day becomes our habit. If I can guess right which I surely do, we all have a bad habit of wasting time, time which could have been better used if not invested in our wasteful endeavors. And surprisingly we all enjoy wasting our time. But in all this we forget how important the time is for us and for everyone around us. The importance of time couldn’t be explained without first explaining the concept of travelling. Let’s assume you were to travel somewhere and you missed the train by only 2 minutes, what would you feel. What would you do now that you have missed your train you would feel a deep sense of regret, you will be shocked for a moment in distress but eventually will realize that time is indeed very important. Things which are done on time yield better results. There is no reason for you to not follow the bounds of time because even the natural world and universe are bound by the principle of time and cause. Although you might not be able to see it now but eventually things will come in a better picture of how time is really essential to almost the very core of everything. If you observe with a keen eye you will see how everything around you is time bound, from offices to school, from trains to flights, from hotels to shops, from the advent of a planet to its eventual destruction everything is time bound indeed. Words are at loss here and therefore would never fully explain to us how time is so invaluable asset as it is. But let’s take another situation and imagine you have a very important test to take; you have studied everything except the most important chapter. And you have very less time at your disposal, now what would you do? You will be panicked and hopeless, scared that you might not make it till the time. Now that is the scenario you must understand it happens to each one of us from time to time, it must be learned in proper sense how important the time is really. And what life would have been, given that everything was out of order, especially the time. You possibly cannot fathom a world without time punctuality and legal order. The best proverb we can repeat is that “Time and Tide wait for none”. As eloquently said it also highlights the similarity around time and tide because as you might know this that tide when it appalls with full force and might asks none if they are ready for the intrusion or not. Nature is a good teacher and it also teaches us proper punctuality.
CONCLUSION
On the philosophical side of things we are bound to find ourselves stunned at how our universe came to existence, when there was no time at all as they experts say. It is hard to imagine what the world would have been if time went missing. Thank you all for being such a good crowd.
