Speech essay on World Nature Day 3 October
First, I wish a very good morning to the principal, respected teachers, and fellow friends the school. Today we have gathered to celebrate World Nature Day. I am going to share a speech about the importance of celebrating World Nature Day.
The celebration of World Nature Day is marked on 3rd October every year. The main aim of celebrating the day is to spread knowledge about the importance of securing the balance of nature. The globalization has created an adverse impact on the biodiversity that threatens the existence of million people living across the world. Therefore, World Nature Organisation (WNO) has introduced World Nature Day to promote the necessity of securing environment. The first official celebration of the day was done on 3rd October, 2010. Active participation of different countries has helped to raise awareness about the rising issue of climate change and its impact on livelihood. The rising threat of climate change has made people aware of the importance of securing wild flora and fauna. Billions of people use wild species to secure energy, medicine, food, and other valuable resources for their well-being. However, improper usage of natural resources has raised the biodiversity crisis that threatens existence of people across the nations. Inclusion of the celebration of World Nature Day has helped to promote the benefits of conserving natural plants and animals for human well-being.
Different awareness programs are done to promote the necessity of planting tress to control global warming. School students are encouraged to plant trees for reducing the threats of deforestation. The member states of United Nations (UN) have signed wildlife conservation to secure the lives of wild species. Social media campaigns are also done to raise awareness of young population about the importance of securing the nature for better living.
At the end of the speech, I want thank you for listening to the speech. I hope you all like it.
