Speech essay on International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression – 4 June
Good morning to the respected principal sir, teachers, and my dear friends.
Today, I stand before you to talk about an important day that reminds us of the innocent children who are victims of violence and aggression all around the world. Today is 4th June and we are observing the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression. This day is observed each year on this date. It was established by the United Nations to raise awareness about the plight of hundreds of thousands of children who suffer from the consequences of aggression and violence.
This is a day to remember that every child has the right to a safe and peaceful world. Sadly, many children across the world face unimaginable difficulties and suffer from the terrible consequences of war, riots and other forms of violence. No child should ever have to endure the fear and pain suffered by these children.
On the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, we should vow to protect and nurture the children around us, specially the under-privileged ones. We should raise our voice against any form of violence and work towards creating a world where all children can grow up in peace and harmony.
As students, it is our responsibility to create a society based on values like kindness, empathy, and understanding – a society that shows love and compassion to those who are affected by aggression. For now, we can do our part by raising awareness about organizations that support children in need and by volunteering to lend a helping hand.
So what if we are small children? We can still speak up for those whose voices are often silenced. We can work to raise awareness about the rights of children.
Thank you everyone for listening.
