People cannot run as quick as animals, therefore they become straightforward prey. After ingestion human flesh, tigers don’t eat any other flesh. They become man eaters.

Answer: At first Jim Corbett made many attempts to hunt the tigress, but when it became unsuccessful, then the tigress killed a 16 years old village girl. It took place near Champawat. The animal left a trail of blood Corbett followed it, whole day passed, they couldn’t track the tigress. The next day a bait was organized with 300 the villagers. The tigress was shot dead near the Champawat bridge in Champawat by Jim Corbett.
