Answer: The factors of road accidents are as follow
i) Drivers: Over-speeding, rash driving, violation of rules, failure to understand signs, fatigue, alcohol.
ii) Pedestrians: Carelessness, illiteracy, crossing at wrong places, jaywalkers.
iii) Passengers: Projecting their body parts outside vehicles, talking to drivers, alighting and boarding vehicles from the wrong side, travelling on footboards, catching a running bus etc.
iv) Vehicles: Failure of brakes or steering, tyre burst, insufficient headlights, overloading Road.
v) Conditions: Potholes, damaged roads, eroded roads merging of rural roads with highways and illegal speed breakers.
vi) Weather conditions: Fog, snow, heavy rainfall, wind storms, hail storms.

Answer: Different factors involved in road accidents
i) Drivers: Driver is a person who drives vehicle, if the person is responsible and good driver the over-speeding, rash driving, violation of rules etc. will be avoided.
ii) Pedestrians: If the Pedestrians control their activities on the road and then many issues can be avoided like carelessness, illiteracy, crossing at wrong places etc. can cause road accidents.
iii) Passengers: many times, passengers project their body parts outside vehicle, talking to drivers or alighting and boarding vehicles from wrong side can cause accidents.
iv) Road Conditions: Many times, road conditions are not good. Potholes, damaged roads, eroded roads etc. can cause accidents hence it is necessary to take care at such place.
v) Weather conditions: Due to weather like fog, snow, heavy rainfall, wind storms etc. can cause road accident.

Answer:Following rules are followed for road safety
i) Know Your Signals: It is good to know the signals to avoid road accidents.
ii) Stop, Look and Cross: Before cross any kind of road we should stop, look and then cross.
iii) Pay Attention – Listen: Paying attention to the road safety warnings are always good.
iv) Don’t Run On Roads: Carelessly running on the road can cause accidents.
v) Always Use Sidewalks: Sidewalks are made to walk and not walking on the road can cause road accidents.
vi) Never Stick Hands outside the Vehicle: Sticking hands or body part outside vehicle can cause serious injuries and accidents.
vii) Never Cross Road at Bends: At the bends the road is not completely visible to the driver and walkers hence it could be risky to cross roads at bends.
viii) Don’t Rush: Mistakes can happen in the rush and cause serious road accidents.
