Teacher’s day celebrated on 5th September each year on the occasion of birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was known as an amazing teacher of his time. Small function was organized in our school on this occasion for our beloved teachers. Teachers day function started at 7:00 a.m. morning . The function started when a small speech was given by the school captain, where she explained the importance of teachers and how teachers are the builders of nation. The function started with lightning of a candle in front of Maa Saraswati’s idol who is known as symbol of knowledge and peace. Exactly 9:00 a.m. the first performance of class 6th students started. As every year’s ritual of students playing as their favorite teacher’s for a day I played Sujata Kardile maa’am and we all distributed flower bouquets to all the teachers. Our principal and all the teachers appreciated everybody is performance. The last performance was a group song by class 12th boys, as it was their last year they give their best performance for the beloved teachers. Teachers have always been so patient and advising, that is why we should always be thankful to them for their precious time. My favorite teacher is Sujatakardile ma’am, as she was my first English teacher and she was strict as well as very knowledgeable. I respect each and every teacher and hope that every student will value their presence. We all have the biggest teacher in our lives as our mothers and so we should love our parents and express it at times also. I request everybody to celebrate teachers and parents and learn as much as possible from them.
Thank you

5th September, 2024. Every year, our school celebrates Teachers’ Day in order to honor and express gratitude to the dedicated educators who share an impactful role in shaping the future of the students. This year, too, the school observed its yearly tradition of making our teachers feel their importance in our lives. This report provides a detailed account of the exciting and lovely observance of Teacher’s Day in our school, showcasing our appreciation and recognition of our teachers for their dedication to education.
Our students were, like each year, hyped up and began the preparations well in advance. With the assistance of our supporting staff members, all the classrooms and common areas, including our huge playground, were decorated with colorful banners, posters, pictures, balloons, and heartfelt messages from students from different grades. The Students Council performed an excellent job on ensuring that all the students were participating and that the committees did not face any hindrances in their work. The students from the Primary Section were especially excited as they were asked to create handmade cards, personalized notes, and small tokens of appreciation. They definitely showed their creativity in their work.
On the day of the event, a special assembly was organized by the students. The day thus began with the welcoming of our beloved teachers and respected principal to the Convening Hall, where most of the program was set to occur. The school principal delivered a heartfelt speech thanking the teaching staff for their dedicated efforts towards the well-being of the students and their education. The speech was concluded with a note of appreciation for the students and the efforts that they put into organizing the event. More speeches were given by the teachers expressing their heartfelt gratitude for the love and respect they received from the students. The teachers who had demonstrated exceptional commitment and impact through their teaching methods were given special awards.
After such an emotionally charged start to the event, the time came for the fun part of the event. Students from Senior Section had dressed up as their teachers and performed funny skits and acts based on their regular interactions with their teachers. Many students showcased their talent through dances and songs. Some students also recited their self-composed poetries for the audience. Each and every performance was received with high energy and appreciation, both from the students and teachers. The program came to an end with the speech by the Student Council.
Secretaries on behalf of all the students, expressing gratitude for the efforts that their teachers put in for them. The beautiful day came to an end with a special lunch organized for the teachers.
The observance of Teacher’s Day in our school was thus a huge success due to the joint efforts of the students as well as the staff and administrators. The recognition and appreciation of our teachers fostered a sense of love and respect in the school community.
