ii) If pronouns of reporting verb in direct speech are first person, then pronouns will also be first person in indirect speech.

We said, “We will go to super market today”.

iii) Second person pronouns in reporting verb will be changed in indirect speech according to the objects of reporting verbs.
Ex.
She said to him, “you are intelligent”.
She told him that he was intelligent.
He said to me, “you are a kind hearted person”.
He told me that I was a kind hearted person.
iv) Third person pronouns in direct speech will remain unchanged in indirect speech.
Ex.
He said, “She is my grandmother”.
He said that she was his grandmother.
They said, “It is raining heavily outside”.
They said that it was raining heavily outside.
