What is Plant Tissue?
Basically, the cells which contain similar type of origin, structure and functions are known as Plant tissue. In the Plant tissue, the cells are always present in group. And, a group of plant cells together forms tissue of the plant. Plant tissue consists of dead cells in some parts and it gives mechanical strength to the plant because they face some natural changes like floods, strong winds and cyclones. These tissues containing dead cells are provided to the plants because plant cannot shift from one place to another. Sometimes, the dividing cells are also present in few parts of the plants because some parts grow continuously. Some tissues contain cells which are live in nature.
Describe the Structure of Plant Tissue.
The parts such as apical bud, lateral, bud, blade, node, stem, lateral bud, taproot, lateral root, root hairs, root cap, petiole, soil line, are included in the structure of plant. In the plants, leaf, stem, and roots are organs of plant. The plant organs are made up of plant tissues where different types of cells are present. The plant tissue contains both undifferentiated cells and differentiated cells. The different plant organs and types of tissues that are present in those organ are given in the below diagrams:

Why plant tissues are different from animal tissue?
For the strength and support, the tissue is present in the plants. Where, animals do have tissue which control all the functions in human body. In the plants, both dead and live cells are there. In the animals, only living type of cells are there. The plant tissue restricts growth to the tips of roots and stem and the animal tissue have uniform growth all over the body. Hence, they are different from animal tissues.
