The eminent personality Sri Aurobindo is known for his great poems. He was an great Philosopher, yoga guru and was Maharishi. It has been announced by our Prime minister that 15 August to celebrate as a150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo. By discussing his ways of thoughts among the youth this day celebrated. To aware young youth about the philosophers and to spread the importance of philosophy in our daily life this day has been celebrated.
The Great Sri Aurobindo Ghose was born on August 15, 1872 in the West Bengal. He was an Indian Philosopher and Indian Nationalist also. He also worked as a journalist. He developed Integral Yoga practices in Pondicherry. He served 40 years of his life at Pondicherry. He was also involved in the Indian movements for independence against British rule and worked as Indian leader. He studied for the Indian Civil Services at King’s College, Cambridge, England. Returning from England he worked for Indian civil Services under the King of Princely state of Baroda. He also sacrificed his life in national politics. He inspired the youth on the path of revolution and appealed to the people to suffer and sacrifice for motherland India.He was one of the first freedom fighters to add religion to politics. He wrote his books with reference to the Upanishads and the Gita. He started writing his Philosophical magazine Arya and later many books came out of it. He authored several books, including Synthesis of Yoga, Essay on the Gita, Mysteries of the Vedas, and the ideal of Human Unity. In Pondicherry he started writing books on philosophy as well as politics.
