Like treasure hunt in this exercise students are required to search a particular number from a matrix available below. This exercise will not only make students familiar with the number but also enables them to increase their cognitive skills recognizing the similar looking things and at same time enabling them to distinguish between different numbers.
Pre-requisite condition
To make most out of these exercise students should have knowledge of number and counting as it will enable him/her to perform in this exercise better.
How to proceed
The whole exercise is divided into three levels that are easy, medium and hard. It is generally advice to proceed from easy to hard level and increasing difficulty step by step in a comprehensive manner.

Steps to solve the exercise
In order to solve the worksheet students are required to follow the steps given below
- Step 1: First students need to observe the number that is required to be searched very carefully and try to memorize it.
- Step 2: Students can now have a look on the matrix or table given below but making sure now they don’t see the number that is needed to be searched out.
- Step 3: Students can either proceed row by row or column by column.
- Step 4: If student find out the number given in the question that number has to be circled using pencil.
- Step 5: After highlighting the number need to proceed again with the step 3 until the whole worksheet or matrix is not traced.
- Step 6: Once complete matrix is traced student are advised to count the highlighted number and write it down the table or matrix.
Evaluation part
After student doing with the exercise they need to submit the sheet to teacher/parents/ guardians and they are required to cross check the performance of the students.
