1) What are servers?
Answer: -It is the most powerful computer which is been connected to rest of the individual computers (clients) and provides information or data to the clients on thir requests within the network.
2) What is HTML?
Answer: -HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. This language helps the user in creating the webpages or documents on the world wide web.
3) Explain the differences between Webpage and Websites?
Answer: -Webpages :- are the every single page in the website. Website :- On the server, the files or data are stored in the form many webpages (websites). These websites can be accessed by anyone sitting in any part of the world with the help of internet.
4) What is Internet?
Answer: -Internet is a network where millions of computers are connected to each other in the computer network across the world.
5) What is a Home page?
Answer: -Homepage is the very first page of any website. Homepage provides links to access different webpages.
6) What are Nesting tags?
Answer: -Nesting tags are the tags which are been used within some other tags. We need to take much care when using closing tags. The closing tags which are used should have some relational link with the last unclosed or opening tag.

10) What is Empty tag?
Answer: -As the name suggests that Empty tag does not require a closing tag. Such tags are always written in an angular brackets.

Q4) Answer the following questions in brief :- (10 marks)
1) What are attributes in HTML?
Answer: -There is presence of some tags in HTML which have special attributes that offers various options in order to format the contained text. Attributes are always written within the angular brackets with its corresponding or relational tag one after the another with a space in between each of them.
For ex: – <FONT SIZE 5> where 5 is the value of the size attribute of the <FONT> tag.
2) What are Non-Empty or Container tags?
Answer: -The non-empty tag consists of On which means open and Off which means closing tags. In HTML coding both these tags opening and closing tags are always written inside the angular brackets. Closing tags are written inside the angular brackets but by using slash (/) before using the command.

3) Explain the structure of an HTML documents?
Answer: -The structure of all HTML documents are based on four tags :-
i) <HTML> tag :- This tag is used for specifying that the document has written in HTML or not. </HTML> tag :- This is used to specify the end of the HTML document.
ii) <TITLE> tag :- This tag is helpful in adding Title to HTML document. </TITLE> tag :- This tag helps in ending Title of the HTML document.
iii) <HEAD> Tag :- This tag is helpful in adding heading to the HTML document. </HEAD> Tag :- This tag is helpful in ending the heading of the HTML document.
iv) <BODY> Tag :- This tag is helpful in adding the body part of the webpage. In this area where most of the work is done. </BODY> Tag :- This tag declares the end of the document. In the HTML document, whatever the contents are written within the <BODY> tag and </BODY> tag, gets automatically displayed in the web browser.
4) Write the steps for creating and saving HTML documents?
Answer: -The steps for creating and saving HTML documents are as followed :-
To create a new HTML document, the steps are
i) First of all open the Notepad application from our computer and start typing HTML code into it.
ii) Click on the File menu —— select and click on Save option ——— Save As dialog box appears.
iii) Select the folder in which you wish to save your HTML document, and then type the name of the file by adding the suffix as .html or .htm in Save As dialog box.
iv) Make a click on the Save button.
5) Explain the steps for viewing an HTML document?
Answer: -You can make of any web browser to view your created HTML document for ex:-Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc.
To view an HTML document, you need to open your browser and the follow the given steps :-
a) Make a click on the File menu ——- Click on open option. The Open dialog box appears on the screen.
b) For selecting the file which you want view, click on Browse button. After which a window appears.
c) Select the location and choose your HTML file that you wish to view and then click on the Open button.
d) Make a click on the OK button of the Open dialog box. Then the web browser will open the HTML file/document.
Note :- If on case, you do not see the menu bar on the screen of the browser window, then just make a right click on the toolbar of the window and select the Menu bar option from the list. If the HTML document is not been saved with .html or.htm extension, then the web browser will not open/ view the file.
