Subject: Female Feticide-undoing of Humanity
Sir
As a citizen of India I would like to draw attention of the concerned authority regarding the problem of female feticide through the column of your esteemed daily We know that at the time of post-independence, Indian women were illiterate, vulnerable and men dominated them. In fact, many people were killing female fetus before birth. But unfortunately it is still a man-dominated society where people are still killing the girl fetus in many villages. Some state like Rajasthan, Haryana the number of female is very low and even they have to bring brides from other states. In these states, this situation is really getting worse. People could not understand that what they are doing is really very shameful, inhumanity.
. People should respect the females and the birth of girl child and understand that the females and males both have the same value. So the government should take strict actions against the female feticide immediately before the situation becomes more uncontrollable. I hope that one day people will wake up from this inhumanity and started to love the girl child as well as boy child.
Yours sincerely
