Labelled diagram of Endocrine gland in Human being Male
Endocrine gland in Human being Male Diagram: The endocrine system is another way of controlling and coordinating our bodies. If a chemical signal is also to be sent, it will reach all the cells of the body and provide the necessary wide ranging changes. This is done in many animals, including humans, by using hormone called adrenaline, which is secreted by the adrenal glands. Adrenaline is secreted directly into the blood and carried to different parts of the body. Target organs or specific tissues on which they act include the heart. As a result, the heart beats faster, resulting in more oxygen being supplied to our muscles. Contraction of the muscles around the small blood vessels in these organs reduces blood flow to the digestive system and skin. It diverts blood to our skeletal muscles. The contraction of the diaphragm and rib muscles also increases the rate of breathing. All these responses make the animal’s body ready to deal with the situation. These changes associated with puberty are caused by the secretion of testosterone in males. Pituitary gland secretes growth hormones. As its name suggests, growth hormone regulates the growth and development of the body. If this hormone has deficiency in childhood, it leads to dwarfism. Males experiences puberty-related changes due to the secretion of testosterone. The endocrine glands in men are the pituitary gland which stimulates the growth of all organs, the testicles which develop the male sex organs, the adrenal glands which stimulate the pituitary gland to release hormones.
