KV admission priority criteria 2023
Every institution in India follows particular criteria to select students for their school or college. Kendriya Vidyalaya or KV comes under them too. Many students think to study in the KV school, but due to a lack of knowledge about admission criteria, the students are unable to take admission to the class they want. So, parents and candidates need to avoid these mistakes. For the same, we have provided information on KV admission priority criteria for both of them. When the school makes a list of candidates they keep certain criteria in their mind. It totally depends on the criteria that you will be getting selected or not in the Kendriya Vidyalaya. KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) Fee Structure 2023
The Fee structure for Kendriya Vidyalaya is given on this page. For the academic year 2023, it has not been released yet. This is the prescribed one for candidates. In the coming year, if it changes we will update the same ASAP.
- Tuition Fees for Class IX & X (Boys) are Rs. 200.00
- Tuition Fees for Class XI & XII Science (Boys) are Rs. 400.00
- Tuition Fees for Class XI & X Commerce & Humanities (Boys) are Rs. 300.00
- Computer Fund Class III is Rs. 100.00
- Fees of Computer Science (For elective subjects) + 2 stage is Rs. 150.00
- Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (Classes I-XII) is Rs. 500.00
How are KV or Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions Prioritized?
The following priority criteria are there for those who are looking for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya or KV 2023.
Civil and Defence Sector Priority Criteria
The state government, Autonomous bodies, Public sector undertakings, and Institutes of Higher Learning government of India employee who is transferable and non-transferable can admit their children to Kendriya Vidyalaya. These students will be given priority in the admissions. The transferable and non-transferable Central Government employee’s children will be also given priority. The foreign National’s child who is transferred to India (Because of any reason) falls under priority criteria for the civil and Defence Sector.
KV Transfer Students Criteria for Admission
The children of defense personnel and paramilitary forces who have transferred to another station will get admission to KV first. If the strength of candidates will be over or above it then also they are allowed to complete their education at KV. Generally, the one who moves to other Naxal-affected areas with family gets priority here. The Deputy Commissioner of the respective region will approve their priority in the organization. The project KVs will also take these students over their capacity.
Wards of Armed Para Military Forces Admission
The admission forwards of Armed/Para Military children will happen automatically as they work for the Indian government. These students get admission on the basis of TC or a transfer certificate. The Indian Coast Guard Armed Forces and Para Military have CBSE-affiliated schools under their Forces and they are responsible for giving this certificate. Only in case of transfer or retirement of these employees does the admission gets done.
Public Sector Undertakings and Institutes of Higher Learning Priority Criteria in KV
The sponsors of the Vidyalaya are also known as the project sector/ Institutes of Higher Learning Employees’ children and grandchildren will be given priority for the KVS admission. Also, retired employees’ children and grandchildren have a preference in the Kendriya Vidyalaya for admission.
Special Provisions Criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission
If the class’s strength of students will be more than limited then the following candidates will be admitted to the KV:
a) Central government employees who is not alive now and died in harnesses only their children will get priority.
b) The Paramveer Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Sena Medal, Veer Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Vayu Sena Medal, and Nausena Medal recipient’s sons or daughters.
c) Employees who received Rashtrapati Puraskar in Scouts & Guides Children.
d) Employees of the Ministry of HRD 100 Children.
e) Except pre-primary and classes X and XII, Wards of Defence Personnel, Navy, Coast Guards, Army, and Air Force Child 6 seats.
f) The Hon’ble Members of Parliament’s Children or Grandchildren.
g) The one who received a Police medal for gallantry and President’s Police medal for the same Children
h) One who has achieved a position in Nationals/State level games/SGFI/CBSE which are organized by the Government. Those meritorious children are prioritized.
i) For class I and class VI, Single girl children are allowed when it comes to priority. For each section of the class, I and class VI, a maximum of two students are allotted.
j) National Bravery Award and Balshree Award winners.
k) The RAW or Research and Analysis Wing Children (15).
l) The located in India to India, Ministry of External Affairs in Kendriya Vidyalayas children (60).
m) The sponsoring Agency of the ward of employees 10 seats.
n) The Regular DDA employees have Children with 5 Seats for each.
